All Gone Pete Tong To Close Decibel Festival w/Tensnake Sept 28
Legendary British DJ To Host Closing Party Of The Acclaimed Electronic Music Festival In Seattle
If there is one name synonymous with the evolution of dance music over the last two decades it is Pete Tong. In a twenty plus year career he has hosted the world’s most listened to dance music radio shows, performed at the most prestigious and forward thinking clubs, helped transform Ibiza into the world’s dance music capital and been awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for services to music and broadcasting.
It was today announced by Seattle’s renowned Decibel Festival that Tong will close the festival with a special All Gone Pete Tong event at Q Nightclub on September 28, 2014.
The Decibel edition of All Gone Pete Tong will feature the German DJ and producer Tensnake as well as emerging Canadian talent Isis Graham. Tong and Tensnake will release a two-disc compilation All Gone Ibiza this month.
Tong has brought his All Gone Pete Tong events to Miami during WMC, SxSW, EDC, BPM Festival, TomorrowWorld and hosted All Gone residencies at Ibiza’s Ushuaia and LA’s Sound. In the past twelve months Tong has played Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival and Detroit’s Movement Festival, and become the first DJ to charter his own cruise with All Gone To Sea – which sails Nov 6-10.
Pete Tong can be heard everyday on EVOLUTION, an Electronic Dance Music station on iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s industry-leading digital radio platform, where he hosts a two-hour show, ‘All Gone Pete Tong’, from 7-9pm EST. His syndicated hour-long show ‘Evolution with Pete Tong’ can be heard on over 90 FM stations across America.
