Resident at San Francisco’s long-running, renowned techno night KONTROL, Sammy D is helping to define the Bay Area’s musical future. His blend of house and techno has also cemented his position as one of the city’s best DJs. Outside of the DJ booth, his productions and collaborations have been released on some of the most respected labels around, namely Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon’s Classic, Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird, and Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly. He’s even got a 50’s lounge act under his belt, so if versatility is a virtue, Sammy D’s got that in spades.
